Paris, August, 2001

We didn't take a lot of pictures because, basically, this was our 3rd visit together, my 4th visit to Paris. We took pictures of the amusing things we saw.

The roman amphitheatre "Arenes de Lutece" where we relaxed, watched a little bocce and Patrick was emotionally abusive to a Chihuahua (see Coffee Talk August 18, 2001 - Faster Life)

Can you believe people would just dump their Louis Vuitton store bag on the street like this? If I were to actually buy something at LV, I would certainly add the bag to my "prestigious store" bag collection.

We just thought this was an amusing and ironic shot. The "M" for the metro and the "M" for McD's. And then there's me doing my tourist pose.

You all know how we are about walk/don't want signs. Paris definitely lives up to its reputation of style. Right down to the crosswalk signals!

(Said in a French accent like the soldier in the Castle in Monty Python's "The Holy Grail") "Hey, you American Tourist Pigs! I say Don't Walk!"
